Does this site cover only LOBA and WAKOL products?
Yes. WAKOL covers substrate preparation and bonding; LOBA covers gap filling, colour, lacquer, oil, cleaning and maintenance.
What should I send for a first assessment?
A photo of the whole room, a close-up of the problem, the surface shot against the light, the approximate area, the location and anything you know about the substrate or the existing coating.
What happens after I send the photos?
First we establish which information is already sufficient and which measurements or site visit are still missing. Then you get a sensible next step, not a random list of products.
Can I bond parquet myself with WAKOL MS 262?
With a permitted substrate, format and application method, the foil bag with its special triangular nozzle is a very direct route. Measuring the substrate, checking flatness and the parquet manufacturer's approval are still mandatory.
When should I choose lacquer and when oil?
Lacquer forms a closed, resistant film; penetrating oil keeps a more direct feel and allows local repair; HardwaxOil is the film-forming oil-and-wax route.
Does a video replace the technical data sheet?
No. A video shows the movement and the sequence. The current technical and safety data sheets define the permitted substrates, consumption, times and limits.
Why measure the substrate first?
Because adhesive, primer and levelling compound cannot correct misdiagnosed moisture, a weak screed or a structural problem.
