SYSTEM ROUTE

Prepared substrate → WAKOL MS 262

On a suitable, sound, dry, flat and thoroughly vacuumed substrate, direct application of MS 262 may be permitted. D 3055 helps bind residual dust and even out absorbency; it is not a moisture barrier.

Five rules that do not move

Limits that adhesive does not correct.

Moisture has a cause

A barrier coating is permitted only within the TDS limits and is not structural waterproofing.

Flatness is created beforehand

Z 610 at least 2 mm under the parquet; adhesive does not take on the role of a levelling compound.

Substrates are not interchangeable

Cement, calcium sulphate, wood and mastic asphalt each require different preparation.

The time window counts

The next layer must follow within the permitted window or after the prescribed preparation.

Click needs approval

Engineered click parquet is fully bonded only if its manufacturer explicitly permits it.
